Do you like Papaya? Here’s more info how we chose to add Papaya to our line of Hawaiian Soy Candles

Click here to go to our Papaya Soy Candle Page

Have you tasted a fresh papaya? Perhaps you have children or family members who savor the chance to purchase and consume a wonderful slice of papaya. Living in Hawai’i, our kids love to purchase papaya from the local market or from one of the many farmers’ markets.

Did you know the papaya is a large plant with huge leaves growing from 15 to 33 feet tall? And similar to the avocado, a papaya feels soft when ripe (and when its skin has an orange hue.)

Interesting fact: the papaya was the first fruit tree to have its genome deciphered!

Interesting fact: excessive consumption of papayas can cause yellowing of the soles and palms which is harmless (unless you’re allergic to the color yellow:)

According to the Hawaii Papaya Industry Association, “Hawaii papayas are simply one of the most nutritious foods in the world.”

Our choice in offering a Papaya Hawaiian Soy Candle was simple:

1) It’s simply an incredible fruit that our family lovers
2) Our candles smell awesome when lit or unlit!
